2026 Primary Election Candidate Information

The Wayne County Chamber of Commerce is providing this voter resource to help inform our community about candidates appearing on the ballot in our area for the 2026 Primary Election. This information is shared for educational purposes only. The Chamber does not endorse or support any candidate, political party, or campaign.
Early Voting: April 27 – May 15

Youth Leadership Wayne Class of 2026 - 2027 – Application Deadline is May 29th

Youth Leadership Wayne is a leadership development program that informs, motivates, and increases the awareness of selected high school juniors and seniors through interaction with community leaders. The program is an investment in the community’s future leadership.

Leadership Wayne Class of 2026 – 2027 – Application Deadline is June 5th

Leadership Wayne targets individuals:

  • • with a sincere, commitment, motivation, and interest in serving the community
  • • who have demonstrated commitment by involvement in community activities
  • • who are interested in seeking, or intending to seek public office, boards, commissions, or key leadership roles
  • • who represent all segments of the community
  • • who have demonstrated leadership qualities or potential for development of those qualities

The Chamber’s vigorous program of work is carried out by volunteer committees from Chamber membership.
 

We offer many ways to get involved with our community, from volunteering through our Ambassador Program to joining one of the many committees we have. Committee involvement is a great way to develop business relationships with others in the Chamber and to impact the economic well-being of the community as well as your business.
